Privacy policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

Amazon Scout extracts publicly-available product information from publicly-accessible Amazon URLs. We do not crawl personal data from the marketplace; we do not log into accounts; we do not access restricted areas. This page explains what we collect about you, not what we collect for you.

1. What we collect about you

2. What we do with it

Operate the service, bill it, prevent abuse, comply with the law. We do not sell or rent your data and we don't share it with advertisers.

3. Where your data lives

Postgres (Neon, US-East). Object storage (AWS S3, US-East), server-side encrypted. We do not transfer your account or job data outside the United States except as needed for our payment processor (Stripe) and email transport (Resend), both of which are GDPR-bound.

4. Cookies

One session cookie (__Secure-0p.session-token), one Stripe Checkout cookie when you hit a payment page. No marketing pixels, no third-party trackers.

5. Your rights

GDPR / CCPA: request access, correction, deletion, or export of any personal data we hold on you. Use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Children

Not for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will notify active customers by email.

8. Contact
